My name is Jonny and I specialise in photo realistic pencil portraits of people and pets, from multiple and often blurry/damaged photos. I have been selling my drawings professionally since 2014. I will bend over backwards to transform the works of your imagination into a physical pencil portrait that will stay with you forever. Anything is possible, together we can make it happen.
Most of my drawings consist of multiple, separate photos that I stitch together in photoshop. We then work together to find a photogenic composition. Once you are happy with it, I will begin the pencil drawing from scratch!
The larger the photos you send me, with as little blur as possible, the more detailed and realistic my drawings will be! I like to try to recreate every individual hair, every tiny wrinkle and the light bouncing off their eyes. I can enhance blurry or damaged photos before drawing, please message me beforehand and we can find the best solution for you :)

1. You are more than welcome to message me with your idea and upload your photos so we can discuss the drawing in depth:
- The arrangement of the photos.
- Potential photo enhancements.
- A deadline that you need the portrait for,
- If you want a plain background or something more bespoke and personal to you behind the people in the portrait, that's no problem we can chat about your exact requirements. This piece of art is personal to you, I will bend over backwards to make it the perfect memorial.
2. Choose the size of the portrait and how many people you would like on the page.
3. Add your selection to your basket and follow the steps to payment.
4. I will create a first draft composition of your sketch from your photos and send them to you via Etsy messages. Once you approve of the layout and I have finalised lighting and shadows, I will begin the sketch.
5. I will package your portrait with care to ensure it gets delivered to you safely. I will secure your portrait in a heavy duty tube or between layers of cardboard to ensure it arrives without being damaged. All orders are sent FIRST CLASS SIGNED FOR (along with tracking number) in the UK, and on the fastest possible route abroad (also with tracking number).

This listing is specifically for an authentic hand drawing. I do have another option available for smaller budgets. I have recently developed a technique to digitally sketch my compositions, the result looks almost indistinguishable from my hand drawings, and I print them on artist sketching paper for that authentic look and feel.
